spam.la is a nifty free service offered by DreamHost.com. It is a simple way to create throw-away e-mail addresses, for example for website registrations. Here is how it works:
- Use whatever@spam.la if a sign-up form forces you to enter a valid address.
- Any mails sent to whatever@spam.la are shown on the spam.la website.
- Read the confirmation mail there and get any registration codes sent by the sign-up form.
- Forget about the e-mail address and any spam that might be sent to it in the future.
