I had to disable the comment function of this blog for the time being. Reason: A massive comment spam attack. Those asshats repeatedly posted like 30 “comments” at a time, each one generating an e-mail to my cell phone and being really tedious to clean up in Movable Type.

Well, the web site they are trying to “promote” is http://lipitordiscount dot biz/. I hope they are not too successful, because we wouldn’t want them to be hit with more traffic than their server can handle, right?

I wrote an article that explains how to use the XPath API of Xalan to access XML data from a Java application. This method requires only few lines of code, even if the criteria for selecting data are complex. When using J2SE 1.4, no external libraries are required.
